After getting clobbered in the Iowa caucuses, they returned to New York City and began to collaborate on a number of theater and film projects. Talkin Broadway’s annual summer theater festival awards recognized the score for WHITE NOISE with a Summer Theater Festival Award. Drymala and Davis also collaborated on the story for Drymala’s feature-length screenplay AMERICAN GOSPEL, which has been optioned by Manifest Pictures and is scheduled to go into production this winter in New Orleans. Most recently, Drymala and Davis presented a concert version of their upcoming pop/hip hop musical STREET LIGHTS at the Zipper Theater, which benefited Barack Obama’s presidential campaign. Drymala and Davis have also appeared together in interviews in Radar Magazine and Broadway World. Outside of his collaboration with Davis, Drymala produces pop and hip hop music, most recently collaborating with Bronx hip hop collective Nothin Over Music.
